the website is live! after the death of my old raspberry pi 4 (rip), i just got my new raspberry pi 5 and finally got my domain name and my ssl certificate all set up! it took a while, but i find these sorts of things fun (i'm self-hosting this website from my physical house for goodness sake).
this is my first actual blog post (ignoring the archival posts for my one piece liveblog), and hopefully it's going to be one of many! i'm not totally sure to what extent i'll use this blog, but i'm definitely going to be keeping up with the one piece posts, and hopefully i'll find the time and inspiration to post other things here too!
if it interests you at all, try out the "collections" view (on my blog page) to see each "collection" of posts i've got up! perhaps there'll be one you'll like!

it's the first chapter i'm reading as it comes out!
i will be doing my best to put out a post for each new chapter as it releases officially. if i miss a chapter, my next post will contain my thoughts on each new chapter until i'm caught up again.
as i read through all of one piece with my friends through discord, i'm going to keep doing that! as i read, i type my reactions there and then come here to make a post about them later. i decided to keep with the style i had of "casual conversation" instead of following the standards i set here on this website.
hopefully the way i'm formatting this isn't too weird: i start off with my initial reactions i write before checking my friends' spoiler tags, and then go to the whole discussion we had after.

alright! first impressions time!
this is a manga one of my best friends recommended to me, and i've really been meaning to check it out!
i don't really know anything about this other than that it's something my friend is obsessed with, though i'm sure that fact has given me some vague expectations.
i believe it's about dungeons (or people who explore dungeons) and food, hence the english title "delicious in dungeon".
anyways, let's get to it!
