Jaya is an interesting place, of course somewhere like that exists in the Grand Line. I'm interested to see more from this Montblanc Cricket fellow, and figure out how the hell the crew is gonna get to Skypeia since I know that's the name of an arc. Guess I'll find out tomorrow!

Here are my thoughts:
I really liked the arc overall, I loved the beginning where we were introduced to the world in the sky. So many interesting concepts with the dials and the density modification of the clouds. I really liked how dials were utilized so well in the fights which made the fighters up here seem so, so much stronger than the straw hats. I enjoyed the idea of the survival game thing, and there were several fights throughout I thought were really cool, but I do think the arc dragged a bit for me during this middle phase. I found myself getting a little bored and have to put in effort to follow some of those fights, especially when it came to the Shandians before their backstory was really talked about. Once they started getting in to the backstory stuff, connecting everything together, it became a lot more fun again! I also really liked the ending, and I thought it was so, so clever how Luffy was just immune to lightning because rubber is an insulator. I had a lot of fun with this one! I think I still prefer Alabasta to it but it was a very solid arc all in all!

JJ: i loved that enel didnt even know what rubber was, he was DUMBFOUNDED that such a thing existed

JY: Idk I'm not usually very full of myself, but with reading when I have the time I've read multiple books in a day. Its just me being sure of myself and my ability with reading and stuff.

CC: the best part about that is oda spends the entire arc making sure that the audience forgot that luffy is immune to lightning, because we learnt that in logue town

Oh haha I don't think I fully connected the fact that Luffy getting struck by lightning meant he was immune, I just thought he was tough, that makes a lot more sense lmao
