Man "Whitebeard Jr." is a silly addition. I wonder what Oda's got in mind for him? He seems to idolize Whitebeard and wants revenge by killing Blackbeard...but also has been going after Whitebeard's crew to take his inheritance? I don't really know what side this guy's gonna end up on. Also, I really, really doubt this is Whitebeard's actual son. I think the lady is a con-woman and whether "Whitebeard Jr." knows or not, she's trying to get rich from this.

Then apparently a week has passed!!! That's a lot of time on the sea away from the rest of the Straw Hats...what has become of them? They were kinda in trouble back when we saw them a week ago…
The fact that Bartolomeo's crew doesn't have a navigator and all get sea sick is so, so funny to me! Somehow they weaseled their way to the NEW WORLD no less, and yet all that they've had to guide them is the advice of grandma! I love them so, so much!

Zou being on the back of an ancient elephant...wow! That's really neat, I've always loved islands on the backs of creatures in media, and this looks to be no exception. The fact that they've been sailing towards it while it's been wondering away from them makes the fact that they've been on the sea for a week make sense!

Woah, Revolutionary Army HQ? Okay, learning what country is producing the weapons sounds really useful. He is most likely still alive." I suppose that means like, the article didn't have a photo of the body, so he likely failed and his ship went down, but he probably survived. Gotcha

On that note, I know Shanks is one of the yonkou, but I'm so curious about his life before he met Luffy. Had he been to the Grand Line before? Maybe I should re-read the beginning to see what he said about his travels. Where did the kings of Zou meet him? In the Grand Line? In the East Blue?

Okay I don't believe for a second that Sanji's gone for good. Regardless of the fact that people still talk about sanji in the present tense, even if I was reading this when it came out I'd not believe it. This has happened before when Nami left the crew, then Usopp did, and then when Robin did, and they all came back. That being said he may be MIA for a while, I'd believe that. Honestly good though. I've been frustrated with Sanji, so some time apart could be beneficial, especially if when we find him there is character backstory and/or development there.

It takes us to the end point of the grand line, "Raftel", the final island.... that's some juicy info honestly! I guess we're going to Raftel eventually. ...was Shanks with Roger ever? Did I know that? Luffy says "You guys all know Shanks?!" then Dogstorm says "Cat and I rode on Roger's ship for a time." which might indirectly be answering this question assuming Luffy knew Shanks was a crewmate of Roger's? Or is it setup since after he says they were previously on Whitebeard's so maybe Shanks was with Whitebeard???? I don't know either way that's kinda crazy, but it makes sense for a character as elusive and hyped up as Shanks

Anyways so Dogstorm and Cat Viper accompanied Lord Oden on the ships he sailed on, including Whitebeard's and Roger's (in that order), but they didn't join them when they went to Raftel, so they have no knowledge of the truth of the world or of the One Piece... fascinating!

It doesn't seem to be the same thing as the observation haki koby unlocked about "voices" because Usopp also unlocked an observation haki... unless there are different kinds of observation haki? Or maybe this is something only the supreme king haki users can hear it???

This does sound like a special connection...maybe even related to D? But then Law could hear it... my theory is Zunesha can somehow communicate with users of the supreme king haki, and its asking Luffy (and/or Momonosuke) to give them an order

"What has Zunesha been walking towards?" is a FASCINATING question! Especially considering on the same page they say "every life must come to an end." Here's my thought: the existance of an "elephant graveyard" is a popular myth. According to legend, elephants can sense they are going to die soon, and they travel to a spot where they can die alone, peacefully. Zunesha, like all things, will die someday, and I would not be surprised in the slightest if Oda was drawing from this myth. Zunesha is going to a place where it will then die...will it be Raftel? Probably not, but maybe!!

I appreciate the diagram, but I still wish it was more detailed. Maybe if we still don't get a clear picture by the end of this arc, I'll take this image and modify it trying to note down all the information about where everyone's going
